With a strong background and knowledge of the business, we provide photo images for the educational
publishing market including Pearson Learning, Houghton Mifflin, and McGraw Hill. We'll work on larger
projects as well as individual assignments both in the studio and on location. We know how to read specs and
shoot for layout. We provide a professional photo stylist who books the models, researches props, custom
wardrobes the look for each assignment, and styles the photo session. We also have available a
production coordinator who can act as a liaison between the studio and the publisher's art and editorial
departments. We believe that communication is king and strive to work out all the details before the shoot.
We pride our studio in being well prepared, ready and resourceful, and have a good reputation for very few re-shoots.
We make an all out effort to get it right the first time. We shoot in traditional film, 2 1/4" transparencies,
and also a high-res 6.1 megapixel digital camera. We are getting outstanding quality results with
the digital camera. We are fortunate to have a 10 year PhotoShop guru who perfects all images before they
are released. We prefer to CD write the the finished digital images and ship same day via FedEx to the
client rather than tying up computers with massive downloads. We'll keep copies at the studio for safe keeping.
